S1000DTM
S1000DTM is a directive on the standardized production of documentation and was developed by AECMA (The European Association of Aerospace Industries). Currently, a group of ASD (AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe), AIA (Aerospace Industries Association), and ATA (Air Transport Association) are responsible for improving the directive.

Within the context of common projects (i.e. various countries and organizations participating in the same project) the S1000DTM ensures unobstructed exchange of information and the creation of uniform documentation. This specification was originally created for aircraft business, but has been adopted for the requirements of other devices and systems in the meantime as well.
The German Federal Armed Forces discovered the benefits for their technical documentation and since then demand the use of this directive.
Due to widespread international acceptance, the S1000DTM can be considered "the" international standard for technical publications. For further information, please visit the S1000DTM website.
CONDOK decided to produce S1000DTM documentation with GRIPS.
