Translation Teamer

High quality translations need time – i.e. an adequate time for completion. However, reality teaches us that sometimes tight schedules exist, because a subsidiary needs a specification to be translated in no time to progress and keep the delivery dates for example. In these cases several translators need to be charged to work on the same text simultaneously.

The disadvantages are quite obvious:

• The translation becomes more inconsistent with an increasing number of translators
• The same questions from different translators must be answered again and again
• Circular e-mails can be confusing and deleted easily

To cope with this challenge, CONDOK applys the Translation Teamer. The Translation Teamer is our bulletin board for the exchange of data and opinions between Translation Managers and translators.

This means:

• Important terms, writing style and specifications can be determined at the start of the project
• Questions must only be answered once
• Every piece of information is included in one source and can be accessed at any time
• Translators can discuss the best translations for certain terms
