CONDOK's range of services covers the areas of system development and services within the scope of Integrated Logistics Support. These include technical documentation, product and operational safety, logistics support for products and systems as well as software development for logistics data management.
As a systems house, CONDOK develops and implements installation and retrofitting measures in shelters and vehicles and provides repair services.
At our sites in Kiel, Hamburg and Koblenz, we manage projects for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and civilian industry. With our technical and logistical solutions for military and civilian systems, we make a valuable contribution to ensuring material availability.
Technical Writing
CONDOK is the specialist for legally compliant and target group-oriented technical documentation of civilian or military projects – on paper, electronically or interactively.
The staff of the Technical Writing department form an interdisciplinary team from a wide range of educational and academic backgrounds, such as physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, technical communication, etc.
We prepare and update technical documentation according to customer requirements and in compliance with the applicable national and international standards, guidelines and specifications. This is all carried out in close coordination with the Graphics, Spare Parts Management and Technical Safety departments.
Where necessary, our Translation department takes care of translating your documentation into the languages of your target markets.
Development
As a systems house, CONDOK develops and produces in particular equipment for installation and retrofitting measures in compliance with legal and military guidelines and specifications.
With our experienced team consisting of hardware and software developers as well as logistics and environmental experts, we carry out new and further developments as well as the implementation of technical modifications in compliance with relevant military standards. Our focus is on IT and communication installation kits for ISO containers, telecommunication shelters, vehicles of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as well as test benches and workshop equipment. The basis for our approach in development with planning, requirements management, conception, design, prototyping, verification and logistics is the V-Model XT.
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Complex and cost-intensive capital goods pass through special phases during their product life cycle that are characterized in particular by long periods of operation and defined process steps. From the early planning phase, through development and product launch, to use and subsequent phase-out, a wide range of demands are made on the respective stakeholders.
Our PLM department supports you in meeting these demands with highly qualified staff and solutions tailored to your specific needs through:
- Consultancy services in the field of PLM
- Consultancy services in the field of customer product management (CPM)
- Preparation of concepts and studies
- Analysis, evaluation and optimisation of logistic processes
- Data management (incl. SAP and SASPF)
- Minimization of life cycle costs and life cycle cost management (LCCM)
Bids & Projects
The Bids & Projects department is the central point of contact for project management at CONDOK. As such, the department assumes the methodological competence as well as the technical leadership for project management. In addition to the provision of qualified programme and project managers, this includes in particular the development of specifications and templates, the conducting of training courses on project management as well as the management and responsibility for higher-level project rounds.
By analogy with project management, the department also takes on the methodological leadership for the technical drafting of offers – including their coordination in the preparation – provides bid managers for selected, complex offers and thus forms the interface to CONDOK's sales activities.
Spare Parts Management
Technical products are becoming increasingly complex and are subject to constant change during the product life cycle.
As a result, the demands not only on spare parts documentation, but also on obsolescence and item configuration management grow throughout the whole service life.
The staff of the Spare Parts Management department are experienced obsolescence and logistics specialists and technical writers; together they form an interdisciplinary team from a wide range of educational and academic backgrounds, such as physics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
We prepare and update spare parts documentation according to customer requirements and in compliance with the applicable national and international standards, guidelines and specifications – always in close coordination with the Technical Writing and Graphics departments.
In addition, we ensure the serviceability of systems through qualified obsolescence and item configuration management.
Production
In our own production facility, realization concepts can be implemented and equipment and installation kits can be manufactured and integrated into shelters, containers or armoured vehicles. In addition, CONDOK offers and carries out repair measures in the factory, on site or abroad.
The range of measures that can be carried out by CONDOK extends from the repair of minor damage through to the extensive repair or general overhaul of installation kits and equipment in all technical areas.
Technical Logistics Management (TLM)
CONDOK supports you as needed in every phase of your projects – from development though launch and operation up to disposal.
As the Technical Logistics Management (TLM) department, we offer comprehensive logistics services in the field of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and provide the necessary data management.
Our experienced employees (mostly former soldiers) from the fields of ILS, data management and SASPF have in-depth knowledge of the workflows and processes used in the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr; BAAINBw) and have been successfully supporting the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and defence companies in the performance of logistics tasks for many years.
Our goal is always to accelerate processes and minimize life cycle costs through the efficient introduction and use of your product!
Graphics
Illustrations play an important role both in technical documentation and in training on the product to be documented. Among other things, they serve to illustrate technical information, the pictorial or animated representation of processes such as installation or replacement descriptions, and the detailed representation of spare parts. Depending on the purpose for which they are needed, products or technical contexts must be presented in either very detailed or greatly simplified graphic form.
We prepare illustrations and animations according to the applicable specifications (such as S1000D or S2000M) or according to customer requirements. It makes no difference whether you provide us with existing 3D models, technical drawings or just photos for this purpose. We will be happy to advise you individually and to adapt to the technical conditions.
Technical Safety
The legislation sets strict requirements for the safety of technical products and occupational health that have to be fulfilled by public authorities and industry.
Our experienced staff (safety engineers) analyzes requests, checks the possible implementation and provides support during conformity assessments, which must be performed before the CE Conformity Mark can be affixed. Furthermore, they advise and support external companies to keep an overview in the jungle of EC directives and military regulations.
In this context we offer the following services:
- Consultancy and support on all aspects of CE marking and conformity assessment procedures
- Risk analyses with respect to product safety legislation in accordance with EC directives
- Risk assessments on the basis of national occupational health and safety regulations
Translation
CONDOK offers you a broad range of language services:
We prepare translations from a wide range of specialist areas into all common languages and language variants, maintain terminology, lay out the target language documents and advise you on all questions relating to the translation process.

History
CONDOK GmbH was founded in 2002 by Hans Conrad and Martin Rohde and has developed over the last 20 years from a technical-logistical service company with 25 employees to a defence technology systems house with now over 300 employees at the Kiel, Koblenz and Hamburg sites.
Hans Conrad retired at the end of 2021.
Martin Rohde has been managing the company as sole managing director under a new shareholder structure since 2022.
